Juan Sebastián Molano wins Stage 2 and keeps the Maglia Giallo-Rossa

Juan Sebastian Molano (UAE Team Emirates) has won Stage 2 of Il Giro di Sicilia Eolo, 173km from Selinunte (Castelvetrano) – Mondello (Palermo). Matteo Moschetti (Trek – Segafredo) and Jakub Mareczko (VINI ZABU’) finished second and third respectively.

Juan Sebastian Molano (UAE Team Emirates) wears the Maglia Giallo Rossa and increases his lead in the General Classification.

Speaking seconds after the stage finish, the stage winner and GC leader Juan Sebastian Molano said: “It was spectacular work by the team. We controlled the race to perfection. I also got a superb lead out. That makes for two beautiful wins and we have further goals for winning the overall classification with our climbers as well.
