Here are the main topics presented by the Green Fun Village in the towns involved in the event:
- Micromobility (e-bikes and electric motorcycles and charging systems);
- Safeguarding the environment (collection and recycling systems, solutions with a small environmental impact);
- Sustainability.
There will be workshops, talks, interviews, games, animations, exhibition stands, bike tests, local engagement activities to involve an audience that is not necessarily fond of cycling, as well as a pump track for children with the Lombardo Bikes brand.
Visitors of the Green Fun Village will also be able to enjoy live music played by local bands and interact with athletes and guests for each stage, while at the Green Kiosk they will be able to enjoy the best food and wine of the area thanks to event partner Birra San Gabriel.
Students will be taking part in Biciscuola, an educational project for primary schools located in towns along the route of the Giro d’Italia, Giro-E, and all the other races organised by RCS Sport. Biciscuola aims at showing children the importance of cycling and to encourage them to take up cycling, while also discussing issues such as learning about well-being, the environment, and road safety. In 2024, over 18 stages, 33,000 children from 1,269 classes that had signed up participated in the event. 415 schoolchildren and 23 classes won prizes.
The Gaming Area of the Green Fun Village is constantly growing; this year it includes:
- Pallavolo incrociato by Continental
- Gioco sfida a due by IMATRA
- GRAN TIRO by Rovagnati
- Cornhole by Toyota
