Elisa Balsamo (Lidl–Trek) returned to winning ways in Stage 6 of the Giro d’Italia Women 2026, prevailing in a bunch sprint at the end of the 159-kilometre fraction from Ala to Brescello. The Italian sprinter once again showcased her speed and timing to claim her fourth victory of this year’s Corsa Rosa. Maggie Coles-Lyster (Human Powered Helath) and Georgia Baker (Liv AlUla Jayco) completed the podium.
