The young French rider Célia Gery from FDJ-SUEZ wins Stage 7 of the Giro d’Italia Women 2026 after a successful breakaway, outsprinting Lucinda Brand (Lidl-Trek) and Chantal Pegolo (Isolmant-Premac-Vittoria). A brave Elisa Longo Borghini, who animated the closing kilometres with a bold attack alongside teammate Silvia Persico, had to settle for fifth place, while the peloton crossed the line eight seconds later.
