Giro d’Italia 2026, Stage 15: route, favourites and where to watch it on TV

23/05/2026

Milan l’è on gran Milan! And no, we’re not talking about Jonny Milan (although he’s certainly pretty great too), but the city itself – the capital of fashion and design, the capital of business, the engine of Italy, however you prefer to define it. That’s right: after five years away, Milan returns to the Giro d’Italia with the 157 km Voghera–Milano stage, culminating in a grand finale on Corso Venezia, where a bunch sprint looks highly likely.

Don’t miss a single pedal stroke of the world’s toughest race in the world’s most beautiful country.

The Route

A completely flat stage awaits. The route starts in Voghera and heads to Pavia along wide, straight roads.
From Pavia to Milan, the riders will retrace the route of the historic Milano–Sanremo, before entering the final circuit after Chiesa Rossa — a 16.3 km loop to be covered four times, finishing on Corso Venezia.
The final corner comes with 2 km to go, and this time there should be no issues in setting up a full bunch sprint.

The Favourites

This time, nothing and no one should distract us from the showdown between Paul Magnier (Soudal Quick-Step), eager to immediately reclaim the Maglia Ciclamino, and Jonathan Milan (Lidl–Trek).
Also hoping to have their say are Dylan Groenewegen (Unibet Tietema Rockets), Tobias Lund Andresen (Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale Team), Matteo Malucelli (XDS Astana Team), and Ethan Vernon (Israel–Premier Tech), all dreaming of claiming a prestigious finish like Milan.
