The young Dutch sprinter racked up 66 points: 30 for the stage win, 10 for bonus awarded to riders winning their first-ever Giro stage, 10 from the Novi “All-Out Finish” bonus, 5 for the celebratory Brindisi bonus, 1 from the Conad “Grocery” bonus, and 10 daily bonus points.
In second place for the stage: Francisco Muñoz (Polti VisitMalta) with 58 points: 5 for intermediate sprint placings, 6 for winning the Red Bull KM, 3 for taking the cat. 4 KOM, 10 for the Combativity Award, 10 for the Breakaway Award, 4 for the Conad “Grocery” bonus, 5 for the SOLO Caffè “I Go SOLO” bonus (10+ km solo in the lead), 5 for the Imatra “Fast Start” bonus (first across the 25 km mark), and 10 daily bonus points.
Mads Pedersen (Lidl-Trek) completes the fantasy podium with 50 points: 10 for leading the GC, 12 for his stage placing, 3 from the intermediate sprint, 5 for Lidl-Trek topping the Super Team standings, 10 from the Bouquet bonus, and another 10 from the daily bonus.
