Andrea Pietrobon (Team Polti VisitMalta) is the winner of Stage 12 of the FantaGiro d’Italia, the Modena – Viadana (Oglio-Po) stage over 172 km. The 26-year-old from Veneto scored 57 points thanks to his long breakaway, earning: 8 points for placements in intermediate sprints, 6 points for first at the Red Bull KM, 4 points for placements on cat. 4 climbs, 10 points for the Combativity Award, 10 points for the Breakaway Award, 4 points for the Conad Grocery bonus, 5 points for the Caffè Monorigine “SOLO” bonus (for staying solo at the front for at least 10 km), 10 points for the Daily bonus (Photo with a Panini sticker).

In second place is Giro stage winner Olav Kooij (Team Visma – Lease a Bike) with 45 points: 30 for the stage win in Viadana, 10 for the Novi “Full Gas Finish” bonus, awarded to the sprint winner, 5 for the Toast bonus.

Tied for third are Manuele Tarozzi (VF Group – Bardiani – CSF – Faizané) and Mads Pedersen, both with 39 points. Tarozzi’s haul includes: 4 points for intermediate sprints, 10 for cat. 4 KOM wins, 5 for the Imatra “Sprint Start” bonus (first to pass 25 km mark), 10 for the Carta Giovani “Health” bonus (on-camera greeting during the race), and 10 for the Daily bonus. Pedersen scored: 12 points for his stage placing, 2 points for Lidl-Trek’s 3rd place in the partial Super Team standings, 10 for the Bouquet Bonus, 10 for the Push bonus, 10 for the Daily bonus, and a –5 penalty for a wheel change.
