A full score for Mads Pedersen (Lidl–Trek), who, with his victory in the opening stage of the 2025 Giro d’Italia, Durrës (Durazzo) – Tirana (Tiranë) over 160 km, takes the first Maglia Rosa and leads the overall FantaGiro classification with a total of 69 points.

The Danish rider secured his points by winning the stage (30 points), claiming first place in the general classification (10 points), earning the Maglia Rosa (10 points), and donning the Maglia Ciclamino (10 points). Additionally, Pedersen earned 3 points for second place in the cat. 3 KOM, 1 point for the Conad “Grocery” Bonus, and 5 points for the Lidl-Trek team taking first place in the team classification for the stage.

In second place in the FantaGiro Stage 1 standings, as well as in the overall classification, is Francesco Busatto (Intermarché–Wanty) with 30 points (7 for the position in the general classification, 12 for his finish in the stage result, 10 for securing the Maglia Bianca, 5 for the Bonus Brindisi, 1 for the Conad Bonus, and a penalty of -5 for a warning).

The podium is completed by Wout Van Aert (Visma–Lease a Bike) and Orluis Aular (Movistar Team), both with 27 points. Van Aert earned his points with 9 points for second place in the general classification of the Maglia Rosa and 18 points for his runner-up finish in the stage classification. Aular earned 8 points for third place in the general classification, 15 points for his stage result, and 3 points for his team’s second-place finish in the team classification.
