Ackermann wins stage 1 of the Tirreno-Adriatico and wears the race’s first Maglia Azzurra

The German rider Pascal Ackermann (Bora – Hansgrohe) has won the first stage of the 55th edition of the Race of the Two Seas, 133km from Lido di Camaiore to Lido di Camaiore, ahead of Fernando Gaviria Rendon (UAE Team Emirates) and Magnus Cort Nielsen (EF Pro Cycling). Pascal Ackermann leads the General Classification and wears the Maglia Azzurra.
