A sprint stage with a final pitfall. Almost constantly downhill from Avezzano along the Sora and Cassino motorway. After reaching the Tyrrhenian coast, the riders will touch Castelvolturno, Mondragone, Lago Patria and Cuma before climbing up to Monte di Procida with a succession of short stretches towards Pozzuoli and Posillipo. Final downhill section before the finish in Via Caracciolo.
