The Capua-Campo Imperatore kept the riders busy for more than six hours of racing. The peloton did not force the pace and several quieter moments occurred. In one of these, just after the intermediate sprint in Castel di Sangro, Mads Pedersen (Trek-Segafredo) pretended to attack and Michael Hepburn (Jayco AlUla) to catch him as if he were a fish on a hook.
Caught!
