Geraint Thomas turned 37 yesterday and did so by wearing the Maglia Rosa in the Dolomites. Just like his compatriot Cavendish a few days ago, Geraint earned a cake at the start and hit the road with a smile. The affection of the fans along the roads and the time gained on Almeida certainly made it a very happy birthday. “Not many people get to spend their 37th birthday like this eh?
