ACCESS TO LAGHI DI CANCANO

Due to the extreme space restraints by the finish area, just a limited number of vehicles bearing a special “Accesso a Laghi di Cancano” badge will be allowed to arrive and park by the finish.

The parking for accredited vehicles without the badge is located approx. 12 km before the finish, near the Headquarters; see page 359 of the Technical Guide.

TO THE SPORT DIRECTORS

BUS DEPARTURE

Team buses must leave their dedicated parking in PINZOLO before 9:45 am.

FEEDING

After the feed zone, team cars (not team vans) shall line up behind the broom wagon (“Fine Gara”). The Race Direction will provide instructions on how to overtake the race convoy via radio.

ACCESS TO LAGHI DI CANCANO

Due to the space restraints at the finish, access to Monte Avena will only be granted to the cars in the race convoy (1st and 2nd team cars, bearing a special RACE badge) and to 2 support vehicles (car or van), bearing a special “Accesso a Laghi di Cancano” badge. Vehicles may then go back to the bus parking (12 km from the finish) after the stage finish.

RIDERS’ ASSISTANCE AT THE FINISH

Heated tents will be available at the finish, by the parking area.

JERSEYS

During tomorrow’s stage, Jai HINDLEY (SUN) will be wearing the white jersey.

ROADS SITUATION

  • From km 66 to km 90, long and fast-running descent from MONTE CASTRIN, with 10 tunnels.
  • From km 90, in LANA, to km 135, in LASA, series of roundabouts and traffic islands when crossing the urban centres.
  • At km 95, in MARLENGO, series of roundabouts and traffic islands, and narrow passage.
  • At km 99, in FORST, series of roundabouts and central raised traffic islands.
  • At km 109, in NATURNO, series of roundabouts and traffic islands when crossing the old town.
  • From km 169 to km 189, technical descent from PASSO DELLO STELVIO, with a series of tunnels.

 Concerning the final kilometres, please refer to the indications provided in the Technical Guide from p. 358 to p. 361.
