There are more and more initiatives that flank the competitive aspect of the Giro d’Italia and make the story of one of the most eagerly awaited sport events in the world rich, exciting and colourful.
GIROLAND
The itinerant Village of the Corsa Rosa becomes more involving. It will be set up every day at the finish of each stage and will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Festivity, fun, music and entertainment guaranteed in 17 stages. It will be possible to relive the emotions of the past through the images of the great champions, memorabilia and the Trofeo Senza Fine of the Giro d’Italia. But not only cycling! The FICB, Federazione Italiana Calcio Balilla, affiliated with CSAIn, Centri Sportivi Aziendali e Industriali, will organise the qualifying tournaments for the FICB 2023 Coppa Italia final. The activity will be open to all.
CAROVANA
The colourful parade of vehicles that traditionally anticipates the arrival of the champions at the finish line cannot be missed, of course. Music and many choreographies will make their passage through the sites of the Corsa Rosa unforgettable, for a spectacle that has always been awaited along the roads and by the public. Four stops are planned each day, at the locations from the start to the finish of the stage.
REPORTER FOR A DAY
An initiative dedicated to young people and their sporting passions. It combines writing and photography in a single day, to live a unique experience thanks to the Giro.
At the start, the participants will be asked to photographically document the most exciting moments before the start of the stage. At the finish, participants are invited to write their own article dedicated to the stage and their day at the Giro d’Italia. The project is dedicated to secondary school students from all the stage locations touched by the race.
