  • Bora-Hansgroe attacking in Turin with 80km to go, giving us one of the most spectacular stages of this Giro
  • Lennard Kämna who, after being in the breakaway all day in the Dolomite stage, finds the strength to help Hindley with 2.5km to go and sets the pace towards the finish on Fedaia, in a move that gave the Australian the Maglia Rosa
  • Harm Vanhoucke, who in the spectacular stage in Naples worked hard for his team-mate Thomas De Gendt, who then managed to take stage win.

Amore Infinito Award:

  • Mathieu van der Poel. Because at the finish in Jesi he congratulated the winner Girmay before even crossing the finish line.
  • Davide Formolo. Because after crossing the finish line of the Marmolada after a full day in the breakaway, the first thing he did was to console Richard Carapaz, who had just lost the Maglia Rosa.
