TO THE SPORT DIRECTORS

BUS DEPARTURE

Team buses must leave their dedicated parking in Palmi before 12:00.

ASSISTANCE TO RIDERS

The team cars that will be used for on foot feeding will be allowed to overtake the race convoy starting from km 115 (in Longobardi Marina) in order to reach the finish well ahead of the race. The drivers will have to remain behind the “Race end” vehicle and wait for instructions by the Race Direction.

THE JERSEY WEARERS

Maglia Bianca: Mauri VANSEVENANT (QST)

We remind that, upon moving from the start place to the actual start, the riders wearing the distinctive jerseys need to be in the front line of the peloton.

ROADS SITUATION

PAY GREAT ATTENTION:

  • At km 40, in VIBO VALENTIA, series of roundabouts and central traffic islands upon entering and leaving the urban area.
  • At km 101, road narrowing owing to roadworks.
  • At km 133, in PAOLA, series of roundabouts.
  • At km 176, in DIAMANTE, roundabout.
  • At km 182, series of central raised traffic islands.

HEADS-UP FOR STAGE 8

HEADQUARTERS CHANGE IN NAPLES

Contrary to the indication provided in the Racebook, the Headquarters in Naples will be located at DaDoM – Museo Darwin Dohrn.

The entrance will be from Riviera di Chiaia, where you will also find the parking area for the Organisation and the Press, because the main entrance of the museum gives upon the stage route.
