Damiano Caruso wins stage 2 of Il Giro di Sicilia and becomes the new leader of the general classification

Damiano Caruso (Nazionale Italiana) has won Stage 2 of Il Giro di Sicilia Eolo, the 152km route from Palma di Montechiaro to Caltanissetta. Vincenzo Nibali (Astana Qazaqstan Team) and Domenico Pozzovivo (Intermarchè-Wanty-Gobert Matériaux) finished second and third respectively.

 

Damiano Caruso (Nazionale Italiana) is the new Maglia Giallo Rossa and leads the General Classification.
