The Kenya-born British pro, champion of the 2018 Giro d’Italia, will attack the legendary Passo Fedaia this Thursday, June 2nd at 7:00 pm (CEST), but this time it’s a virtual ride using the BKOOL simulator.

Four years after his victory in the Giro d’Italia, Chris Froome will once again face one of the most famous ascents of the Corsa Rosa, as he tests himself on BKOOL’s computer-generated simulation of the climb.

On Monday, May 30th, the Giro d’Italia Virtual hosted by BKOOL opens a new stage with the iconic Passo Fedaia, one of the most famous ascents in cycling.

The highlight of this stage is bound to be next Thursday, June 2nd at 7:00 pm (CEST), when Virtual Giro participants will have the opportunity to ride the stage with Chris Froome himself. He will lead the virtual peloton up the Passo Fedaia, along with hundreds of cyclists of all levels from all over the world, pedaling from their homes.

The Giro d’Italia Virtual hosted by BKOOL is an indoor cycling experience created by BKOOL and RCS Sport with the aim of bringing the Giro d’Italia closer to the fans, offering them the chance to experience its stages in a much more immersive way.

To participate in the Giro d’Italia Virtual hosted by BKOOL and ride alongside Chris Froome, all you need is a smart cycling trainer (or a smart bike). Any cyclist on the planet, whatever their level or nationality, can register for the event through the website www.girovirtual.com with a 30-day free trial.

The Giro d’Italia Virtual hosted by BKOOL is comprised of the most important stages of the race, and offers a unique opportunity for any cyclist to experience first-hand the magic and atmosphere of the Corsa Rosa. With only a few days left before he competes in the Critérium Dauphiné, Chris Froome returns to the dreaded Passo Fedaia of the Giro d’Italia. This time, his team will be made up of a huge virtual peloton of cyclists from all over the world.
