The Giro d’Italia Bike Business Forum returns to the spotlight as part of Il Festival dello Sport in Trento, with an event dedicated to the economic, tourism and cultural impact generated by major sporting events.
The event, titled “The Pink Impact: How Major Sporting Events Drive Italian Authenticity Around the World”, will take place on Sunday, October 4, from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Palazzo della Regione in Trento. It will bring together representatives from institutions, business, tourism and sport to explore the role of internationally renowned events as drivers of territorial development and economic growth. The forum will focus on the legacy of major sporting events, food and wine cycling tourism, and the ability of Italian territories to attract buyers, investors and international companies through their unique excellence and authenticity.
Speakers and participants include Urbano Cairo, Chairman of RCS MediaGroup; Matteo Zoppas, President of the Italian Trade Agency (ICE); Maurizio Rossini, Chief Executive Officer of Trentino Marketing; Vassil Terziev, Mayor of Sofia; and Carmelo Carbotti, Head of Strategic Marketing & Research at Banca Ifis.
