So-called “stage of the low walls” (the non-extreme ones). After an initial stretch along the Adriatic sea until Civitanova Marche, we leave the coast and face a rather undulating route made of 10 more or less demanding ups and downs (only some are KOMs). The last uphill section, located at 12 km from the finish line, is suitable ground to build a margin and avoid a bunch sprint.
