Less than three months since the closing of the one and only autumn Giro d’Italia on October 25, now it is already time to introduce the 104th edition, which is back to the springtime – its original schedule.
After the Grande Partenza (the opening ITT) on May 8 in Turin, Piedmont will also be hosting stages two and three: Stupinigi – Novara and Biella – Canale, respectively.
The first three stages are like ripples in a lake after a stone is thrown in the water, starting from the centre of Turin, and spreading out in bigger circles, growing in length and complexity.
