Please be reminded that you are required to access the start area through the mandatory passing point (PPO) [N 37°31’33.9” E 15°05’26.2”]. ATTENTION: this also applies to anyone staying in a hotel near the start zone.

Team buses must leave their dedicated parking in CATANIA before 12:00.

During tomorrow’s stage, Harm VANHOUCKE (LTS) will be wearing the white jersey.
ROAD SITUATION
- At km 9, in ACIREALE, concrete central raised traffic island.
- At km 17, in GUARDIA, urban centre crossing on stone-slab paving.
- At km 24, in GIARRE, urban centre crossing on stone-slab paving.
- From km 75 to km 85, PORTELLA MANDRAZZI descent: uneven road surface.
- At km 86, in NOVARA DI SICILIA, technical urban centre crossing on stone-slab paving, and narrowing roadway along the descent.
